CloseDRC supports scientific meetings, conferences, and workshops relevant to its mission and will consider applications up to a maximum of $5,000. Applications for conference support are accepted for consideration throughout the year. *
Eligibility
The following will be considered in the context of how it relates to DRC’s goals:
- How the meeting/conference aligns with DRC’s mission
- Purpose/Goal of the meeting/conference
- Format, agenda, and location of meeting/conference
- How the requested funds will be used and promote DRC’s work
- Organizers and participants expected
- Past conference/meeting history and effectiveness
- Other supporters/funders of the conference
