My husband is a survivor of type 1 diabetes. At age 10, his physician said he wouldn’t make it to 50. At 67, he has beaten the odds. Why? Because of the advances being made in diabetes research! Chris and I are passionate about supporting brilliant, young diabetes research investigators, many of whom have been challenged by NIH government budget cuts. Thankfully, there is a visionary non-profit organization that has been created to support these promising, early stage researchers — the Diabetes Research Connection. Chris and I would like to ask for your help in supporting this worthy cause. Please join us in supporting innovative, potentially groundbreaking research. Chris and I thank you!
